During the summer we have a large amount of orders coming through our shop. Due to this we operate based on due dates, as Ms. Wright placed her order June 17th and didn't need it until July 29th it was placed behind orders that had sooner due dates, thus our communication on artwork was also delayed. She did however receive her artwork to proof on July 22nd, which was still plenty of time for us to complete her order by the due date. To address the artwork: Often when an individual has a specific idea of shirt design in their mind and tries to relay those details to our art department there can be miscommunications. Our art department felt they understood and worked to complete the artwork as requested. When Ms. Wright refers to trying it herself, she did indeed send in a sharpie sketch of what she desired. Which if we had received originally would have prevented any confusion to begin with. However, claiming that we charged her $50 for her own artwork is unfair. We charge our clients for how long it takes our art team to prepare their design for printing. If Ms. Wright had sent in a file in Vector Format, digitized, with registration marks for printing, there would have been no art charge. Due to the fact that the art she submitted was a sketch, we of course had to prepare it for the press by working on the image. All of our clients receive an email with information about the possibility of art charges, unfortunately it appears Ms. Wright did not do her "homework" in reading through our terms completely. To address the shirts: Image Wear has THOUSANDS of shirt options, and while we do not have control over whether our distributor runs out of a certain style of shirt, there are many comparable options in both price and look- she did not "HAVE" to order shirts that were a little bit more, she chose to. As for the holes in the product, if indeed there are "several" with holes, which we have never seen or received such a claim in our 35+ years of business, we would be more than happy to take a look at those and see what we can do to compensate you. As for the final price: you were originally QUOTED $300, a quote is defined as "to give someone (the estimated price of a job or service)". An estimate is defined as "an APPROXIMATE calculation or judgement". We apologize if it was unclear that your quote was subject to adjustment, as quotes often are, upon reviewing the actual labor, ink consumption, and setup time associated with your order.

Update: when we opened the box we found several shirts with holes in the seams. Bottom line: poor quality, terrible customer service from management, and a ripoff in price. The nerve of these people. I brought in a specific design request with 5 weeks to go before I needed it. They quoted me a price of $300 and I paid a 50% deposit. Then they did nothing. At all. For over a month. Finally, I called them with only a few days before the deadline, and asked them when they would have artwork for me to proof and only after that did they send me something. Only what they sent me was nothing at all that I asked for. The artist made literally no attempt at the design I requested. Shocked that I didn't like the artwork that wasnt anything like I requested, they sent me another proof that was ALSO nothing like I requested. I began wondering if what I was asking for was too hard, so I tried it myself. The entire job took me 30 minutes and was the closest I had seen to what I wanted. Mind you, I am no artist and by no means intended my artwork to be ththr final design. Without my consent, they put it on a proof in such a rush to finish the job that they didn't even notice the small problems with my artwork that was only meant as a guide for what I wanted. On top of that, they had procrastinated so long to even start my project that by the time they needed to order, the tshirts I requested were out of stock, so I ended up HAVING to order shirts that were "a little bit more." When all is said and done, they charged me $50 FOR MY OWN ARTWORK and the overall cost was $200 more than they originally quoted me ($500 instead of $300) AND they were a full day late in being done with them. A day late and $200 short. This isn't my first time working with t-shirts and artists and never before have I been so rushed. Never before has the company procrastinated so terribly. Never before has the artists charged me for the back and forth or the artists fees been so exorbitant. Never before have I worked with management who refused to make it right. I will never do business with these bait and switchers again. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

We apologize for any negative experience you may have had at Image Wear. We strive to complete every order at the time the client requests. Occasionally we run tight on deadlines, however we will work late nights and weekends to ensure your order is received before your event date. It is highly unusual that we would ever have non-employees help out around the shop. The only scenario that your description could have happened is if you volunteered to help, in an effort to push your order through faster. Custom work can land on a spectrum of effort required to complete an order. Some orders can cost the company money to complete due to complex requests, for this reason we do at times let the client know that if they want to move forward with an order it may cost much more than seems reasonable. - Do not order- from these guys the owner is a grumpy old man that hates his job and he takes it out on his customers. I have ordered over $1800 with this company they guaranteed my order and it wasn't ready by the time i have requested. I needed my order done by the day i have requested I was promised and guaranteed it would be done i was in the shop helping out hands on for 5 hours holding jackets down so he can screen print on them, folding them and putting them into the box just to get it done cause the owner didn't have the extra help. The next day I went to pay of the remainder balance I thought the owner would be considerate and cut me a break cause i helped him for five hours the only reason why i did that is cause i promised my team they would have their order in by a certain date. well my balance due was $100 more and the owner blamed me for it being late cause i was in the shop talking to him and helping out. to make along story short I needed another order and the owner told me he cant take anymore orders from me cause my orders are too complicated. poooooor customer service
